Swansea Monumental Masons, Nurse and Payne of Fforestfach, have honoured Private Connolly by supplying and placing a headstone on his grave free of charge.
A re-dedication of the grave of Private Connolly took place at Danygraig Cemetery in Port Tennant on Wednesday, January 23, Swansea, 140 years since the battle of Rorke’s Drift.
A Regimental Goat and Bugler of The Royal Welsh were in attendance.
